SUBJECT: RECALL OF OMEGA SPRINKLER HEADS

Central Sprinkler Company has recalled all “Omega” brand sprinkler heads including those manufactured prior to June 6, 1996. Enclosed is a copy of an “Omega Recall Fact Sheet” which should answer any questions you may have regarding the terms of the recall. Please note that claims must be submitted no later than August 1, 1999, in order for the building owner or manager to take full advantage of the reimbursement offered. Interested parties can call Central Sprinklers at 1-800-896-5685 for an information packet which will help them identify these sprinkler heads.

As licensed fire sprinkler contractors, you can be of great service to the community by helping in the identification of these heads and by communicating this information to any affected party.
